HI FELLOW RAPPERS

We are sorry we missed rap point 1 last week!  We had a cartoonist visit our school for 2 days.

Han Christian Anderson felt like the ‘ugly duckling’  himself when growing up because he wasn’t the same as the other children. He was taller, had longer arms  and legs  and a different hair colour to other children.

There are many relevant and important messages in The Ugly Duckling story. We have chosen two message from the story to share with you.

Both  Hans Christian Andersen and the Ugly Duckling’ grew from being  teased when young for being different, into being greatly admired. Often something good can came out of something bad.

We believe that we shouldn't tease and bully others because they look different. As the saying goes, "What goes around comes around." It is important to treat others the way you would like to be treated.
