Title: Rap Wrap Up Class 3S Marayong PS

Dear Rappers,
This is our last e-mail to the Hans Christian Andersen Rap and we’re  feeling a bit sad.
Class 3S has learnt many important skills and knowledge from participating including:

·       about Hans Christian Andersen when he was young; how he was picked on (bullied) and alone.
·       morals from his stories.
·       how Hans Christian Andersen was similar to some of his characters (eg. The Ugly Duckling)
·       about many of his fairytales (through watching DVDs and reading books) Sometimes the DVD version and the book were different.

·        interesting facts about other schools (names, location, motto, uniform, special features)
·        how some schools are similar or different to our school
·       new ideas about Hans Christian Andersen stories from other schools
·       how to work as a team sharing our ideas  
·       new ideas for our own story writing.

We’ve enjoyed:
·       reading other schools e-mails (and our own!)
·       writing our rap responses
·       reading different Hans Christian Andersen stories and discussing them
·       working in the library
·       sharing in the rap with other schools

Our class would like to thank the Co- ordinators for organising the rap.
This has been the first rap about a famous author who lived so many years ago.
