Tangling Tennis
Playing Area - Wet, gooey, clay tennis court.
Goal posts - not relevant to this sport.
Teams - You can either play doubles or singles.
If you play singles the player plays against a set of
octupus tentacles.
If you play doubles the player plays against two sets of
octupus tentacles.
Players equipment - The players need a tennis racket each,
clay boots, a magical, clay - proof tennis
ball. The players must wear a wet suit and
goggles.
Rights and Responsibilities - The crowd must be quiet when the
ball is in play. You must always
wear your goggles and wet suit
whilst playing.
Positions - Any where on your side of the net and inside the
court lines.
Scoring system - Each player, one at a time, gets ten serves
each period. The game goes for six periods.
If you hit the ball inside the oppositions court
and they fail to return it before the ball
bounces twice then your team gets ten points.
If you serve an ace you win fifty points.
Playing faults - If you serve outside of the court twice in a row
the opposition gains ten points.
Time outs - There are time outs at the end of each period of the
game.
Role of referee - The role of the referee is to call the ball when it
is in or out and the referee also keeps the
score of the game and also makes sure the
game is played fairly.
