Aspects Of Sport
1.Playing Area- Footy Field.It is a large square shaped area and can fit in 2,000 people in the grand stands and it has two 65 metre areas 1 at each end and it has a 100 metre circle in the centre of the pitch.
2.Goal Posts-There are eight.There are 4 posts at each end.There are 2 little posts and 2 big posts at each end.
3.Teams-22 players on a team.They have 3 backmen, 4 forwardmen, 3 centremen, 2 wingmen, 3 half forwardmen, 3 half backmen and they're allowed to have 4 on the bench.
4.Players Equiptment-Footy boots and broom and they have to wear their team colours that they are in.
5.Rights And Responsibilities-Their responsibilities are to stop the other side to not get any scores and to not get any red or yellow cards and just play the best footy that they can.
6.Positions-Centre,Wing,forward, back.The centre player can go where-ever they want. The wing can only stay between the two 65 metre areas. The forwards and the backs can only stay in between their sides of the 65 metre areas.
7.Scoring System-One goal is 50 points one and a point is 20 points.The goal umpire stands in the middle of the two big sticks and has to say whether it was a goal or a point.
8.Playing Faults-They have red cards and yellow cards.A yellow card means you sit out of the game for ten minutes and a red card means you get sent off for the rest of the game.
9.Time-outs-Each team gets 5 time outs each.When the team runs out of time outs they can't change their team around anymore.
10.Role Of Referee-He has to umpire the game and gets to give out the cards.He also enforces all the rules and gets to pick the best players for the redlow medal at the end of the year.
