Dear fellow Rappers,
We are class 5T from Marayong Public School, which is a suburb in Western Sydney. Our class has a total of 31 students and our teacher is Mrs Bohman. Currently, we have a student teacher Mr Bowden, who helps us with our work. Mrs Scheffers is our teacher librarian and is helping to organise this Rap.
Marayong Public School has a specialist P.E teacher and a craft teacher. Our school provides opportunities for students in a range of academic, sporting and cultural areas.
The school’s colours are green and gold. We have spacious playing areas and before and after school care. “Marayong” is an aboriginal word for emu.
Grade 5 is feeling very excited about this Book Rap because many of us have never participated in a Rap before. Class 5T has enjoyed reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because it’s so interesting, extraordinary, magical and adventurous.
