Investigated Item: Self-Emptying Garbage Bin
Item Location: 7 Abyss Street, Bottomlessville 23894
normally kept outside back door
Current Owner: a young man (Brad Warren – muggle) found the bin when he
moved to Abyss Street. He found it very handy not to have to empty it so he
never said anything.
Description of Item:
· Quite recent model; the government usually gives them out for free.
· Approximate manufacture date 1989
· Green in colour with yellow lid
Current problem: Owner reports garbage bin is regurgitating all his rubbish
and also some refuse he never threw away (such as Wizard Crackers and
somebody’s body parts)
A government official has been to check the bin and said it was just
another bin like the other three million but it supposedly continued
spitting up rubbish after the official left.
Evaluation: Investigation into history of bin reveals it belonged to a Mr.
Stephen King, who was reported missing when the bin first started playing
up.
Recommendation: Destroy bin at all costs.

Footnote: an inspection of the bin found there were millions of fan letters
in it, all addressed to the previous owner.
