harrypotter_rap Rap point 2 second report <ncbis>

MINISTRY OF MAGIC

Investigative report:

Date:
14 November 2002

Item Location:
29 Three Ville Road
Should be kept in attic

Current owner:
Mr.Levelle (bachelor) Found mirror when moving in.

Description of item:
- One old-fashioned mirror (approximate date of manufacture 1870)
- Two feet long, gold framed, oval shaped

Current Problem:
Owner reports that the mirror keeps getting out of the attic and hanging
itself on the walls. Everytime, someone passes by, it captures their image
and mixes it up with other. Now instead of showing the reflection of the
person in front of it, it shows someone or something else’s reflection.

It makes all his visitors get a shock of their lives and they start getting
panicked. Sometimes when the mirror is changing places, it knocks everything
in its way down. So far the bachelor’s fiancé is still in the hospital after
the mirror manage to swing her all the way out of town. She was apparently
trying to stop the mirror from damaging her ancient tea set she brought
over. She had broken every single bone except for her skull. On the 30th of
September, the mirror was examined by an antique shop owner. He claims he’s
never seen it before and it should sell for a good price, however the shop
owner is reluctant to buy it.

Owner is now in a frightened stage and always crawls everywhere. He is
finding a buyer hoping to sell it for good money because of its gold frame.

Further investigation:
An investigation of the history reveals that it belonged to a fine witch,
Mrs. Baendebell who bewitched it to scare the muggles from staring into her
beloved mirror. Apparently the mirror was her dead husband. She decided to
transfigure him into the mirror. After she died in 1930, she passed it on to
her daughter who hated mirrors (She obviously didn’t know it was her
father.) and carelessly sold it to a muggle for a good price.

Recommendation:
Send an unafraid MINISTRY OF MAGIC employee (with a bonus if he gets the job
well done.) to buy the mirror from Mr. Levelle and give it back to Mrs.
Baendebell’s descendants. If they don’t want it, undo the spell and give it
to Mr. Weasley for he’s collection. If this doesn’t work, it will need to
be removed by the Retrieval Branch.

Name of investigator: Wei Yee Chan
