Dear Fellow Rappers,We have decided on our sport- Bewitching Basketball.
Playing area- oval floorboards that dip down in the middle- dish shaped.
Goalposts- two, 10 metres high, colour coded, one for each team these can
walk around.
Teams- two teams of 7. One person is responsible for trying to catch and
restrain the goal hoops. Two catchers who pass to the people that score,
three players who score. One person is the Breaker who tries to catch and
bash a large metal ball that is called the destroyer. You win points if you
smash it open or you can aim it at opposing players who are out if they are
hit.
Equipment- Super bounce basket ball, hard to catch. Spring-in-your-step
shoes, the destroyer, movable hoops, catching gloves, a net for the hoop
catcher. A glove and sledge hammer for the breaker.
Scoring- two points for every hoop, five points for every direct hit on the
metal ball, ten points if metal ball is broken (game ends), minus 3
points if metal ball hits hoop.
Playing faults- The hoop can only be held for 3.97 seconds or if the metal
ball hits the hoop, it gets time out to recover as it may get over excited.
Time out-5 mins off the field and/or a goal shoot for the team that gets
hurt.
Role of referee- Show faults, give time outs, to make sure there are no
cheaters, bad sports or violence.
