lawson_rap lawson Rap points 1A

To Rappers,

Answer 1:

The Characters in Lawsons stories STILL engage the readers today because his
characters are true aussies. He intametly knew the Australian people he
wrote about;he had sympathy and understanding for their hard way of life,
and yet could laugh at funny incidents and eccentric characters. The people
who read his stories and poems in his life time hail him as Australias prose
lauteate because he saluted the battelers who tamed the bush. His heart and
mind where pure Australian.

Answer 2:

The purpose of each story was to let the readers know how it is in the bush
and how hard life is other than having Banjo Patterson romanticising about
the bush. The fact that lawson didn't like the bush makes no difference to
his talent for telling his story. He tells a bleak, harsh but honest tail of
the dead heart of inland Australia.

Answer 5:

I think that the values and relationships of theose living and working in
the lbush are explored. In "Joe Wilsons Courtship" we see the character of
Joe as a very honest and caring nature, even though he does go and get
drunk.

The relationshiop of Andy, Dave and Jim in "The Loaded Dog" is very strong.
They are three great mates whoa are having a good time. The composer can
tell that these are three good mates by them just being out their in the
bush by themselves and having a good time.
