Q1: No, it means just the opposite. Once we had Australian citizenship we
had the "key" to the country, so to speak...But i am saying that once 10
Mary Street is gone, what we had there as a family will never be
gone.....no, also, to your other part of the questions because the poem
stresses the way that the Polish culture/traditions were encouraged and
perpetuated while we lived there...So, by implication, that will remain also.

Q2: That is similar to the other question I just answered Kay Claire &
Will. GHS

Q3: No, i don't experience conflict of culture..I think I've been here too
long...So it upsets me when I see problems associated wirh racism and
prejudice, etc.
