immigrantc_rap ghazal shams and three questions

Q1: (A)These days people don't say too much. If they do it is usually
someting nice and encouraging. I don't really think about it...The writing
is more important...Some do recognise themselves and identify with the
poems -especially those who were of my generation. they feel that something
good and positive has come out of the poems...
(B) Their responses , as I said, are encouraging. But I have been writing
for a long time and I appreciate the compliments but the main thing is to
keep writing.
Q2: I think it is easier today for migrants - and I am NOT talking about
illegal refugees - because they have laws to protect them against racism
and bigotry. The kind of protection that our generation never had...Also,
there was no social welfare/security system in those days and there is
today...
Best wishes
Peter Skrzynecki
