immigrantc_rap replies and thank you

Dear book rappers,
This is a collective thank you to all indivduals and schools who
participated in the session on Immigrant Chronicle. I hope I have been of
some help and would like to wish you all the best for the future.
Literature, basically, as I see it, is a means of helping you understand
your lives - and I hope my poetry has been able to give you insights into
this sometimes difficult topic called Changing Perspectives. Nothing is set
in concrete and you are changing all the times - so your views and opinions
will change also. Use my discussions as a written/spoken text and remember
your views are more important than mine.
I am surprised at the depth to which some of you were able to go and the
interpretations you gave. Well done. I am only a helping hand and my role
was/isto challenge you all to think for yourselves. You've demonstrated you
can do that with confidence.
Thank you to all teacher and staff for their support. I will remember this
exercise and the responses from you all. There were times when I thought
these poems didn't deserve this scrutiny but you gave it and I am all the
wiser for the experience.
Thank you, again
Peter Skrzynecki
