indijreaders04_rap Coordinator's welcome message

Dear Indij readers rappers

Welcome to the book rap about Indij readers. I hope you enjoy this experience and learn about different schools when everyone introduces themselves in their first email. My name is Mrs Rasaiah and I will be your coordinator for the book rap.

Your first task this week is to send a message introducing your group. Tell us about your school, your town, and where it is in Australia. Give your class group a name and send your messages to:

indijreaders04_rap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au

All messages sent to this students' list will automatically have the prefix "indijreaders04_rap" in the subject line for easy identification; there is no need for you to type this.

This week, you could also prepare a rap map locating all the other schools as they send their introductory messages. It may be fun to create a database of this information as well. You might also like to begin a Rap journal to record your experiences as the rap progresses.

Remember to only post one combined message from your class/group to the rap each time, or else there might be so many emails your computer won’t be able to cope!

I am looking forward to learning all about your schools,

Happy rapping,

Mrs Rasaiah

Sally Rasaiah
