indijreaders04_rap Rap Point 1 - Glebe PS

Hey everyone

We had lots of fun telling each other our yarns.
We've picked a few for you guys to read - hope you
enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed writing them.

Michael Weldon's Yarn - Year 1

'When i went to the country with my Pop, we went
hunting for emu eggs. We found heaps and lucky we
didn't see the emus because they might of chased us.
It was fun.'

Allan Lu Yarn - Year 2

'Once i went to Vietnam and we went to Siagon to play.
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City we had to get a
very small taxi. There were seven of us so we had to
squeeze in and my sister had to sit on my mum's lap
and i had to sit on my pop's knee. It took an hour to
get back and my mum said her lap hurt and she was glad
that the taxi ride was over. So was I.'

Uraia Rabuatoka - Year 1

'I went to the zoo and I saw an animal that only had
half a tail. All the other animals had long tails,
but this one's was really short. I think the animal
was called a Meer Cat.'

Thanks everyone for reading our yarns, we really liked
hearing yours too.
