The Scary Thing
Late one dark night when Ryan was lying in bed, he heard his bedroom door close shut. Ryan lay very still listening and wondering if a boogie man had entered his room.
Peering over the doona, Ryan could see a dark shape in the corner of his room. Feeling very brave, he climbed out of bed and
POUNCED!
The shadow moved and Ryan hit the wall with a BANG!
He heard a familiar giggle and discovered the scary thing was really his little sister. Holding his sore head, Ryan switched on the light and sent his sister back to bed.
