The Emu Egg.....I like Uncle Greg and the way he talks "Flamin' big cake girl" James
.....I like the whole family who liv at Murray Bridge. They knew how to find
emu eggs in spring. When they got one their mum told the girl to put a hole
in the emu egg and then her mum would make a cake and they ate it. Michelle
.....I like the girl in the story because she did most of the work and gave the ants a
new nest. Shea

Me and My Mum
.....I like both the girl and the mum. When her mum does something she copies.
.....I like this book because it shows that both characters, the mum and the girl,
