In this presentation he will present his impressions of the impact of the disaster on Acehnese society, and provide a picture of the local, national and international relief efforts. He will also discuss the implications of the disaster for ongoing efforts to find a peaceful solution to the Aceh conflict, and point to the implications of the conflict for the relief effort itself
