Title: Summary of 'Programmes on Indonesia' for the month of
Dear colleagues and friends,

Just to remind you of 'programmes on Indonesia' (academic, artistic, etc) for the month of March.
Please help publicize. Thanks.

1.      The Indonesia Festival; Free admission
  WHERE: Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour
  WHEN: Sunday 13 March, 2005;  11 am to 6 pm
     WHAT's ON: Indonesian regional dances, food stalls, information stalls, etc

2.      Tribute to Australia - Journey to Parahyangan
        When: Tuesday 15 March, 2005; 7pm for 7.30pm
        Where: Parade Theatre, National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA)
                215 Anzac parade, Kensington
        It is free, but if anyone needs a ticket to go in, please contact Rochayah on 0413 320 626.

3.      Wednesday March 16, 2005 - SBS TV (as per email from Ibu Leonie posted at this address         
        sometime ago).
        6.00 GLOBAL VILLAGE - Presented by Silvio Rivier. Funeral Rites of the Torajas - The funeral           
        rites of the Toraja people of Sulawesi in Indonesia include animal sacrifices for the deceased 
        and carved effigies of them also, in the hope that the dead will continue living through the   
        effigies. (In French and Indonesian, English subtitles) (Rpt)

4.      SISC (Sydney Indonesian Study Circle) Seminar
        Speaker: Dr. Greg Fealy (from the ANU)
  Topic: The Dynamics of Indonesian Terrorism: Historical Legacies; Contemporary Agendas
        When: Wednesday March 16, 2005; starting: 5.30pm
        Venue: The 19th Floor of the main the tower building on Broadway;
                   Room CB 01.19.22g (C = City; B= Broadway; 1 = Building 1 which is the tower.
                  19 = 19th floor).
