Speaking with Cloth: Cerita Dalam Kain
The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) are pleased
to
announce the completion of their
Speaking with Cloth: Cerita Dalam Kainwebsite. Please visit

from this
exhibition and other collection items from the Southeast Asian
collection of the
Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
Also, the tour of the MAGNT exhibition Speaking with Cloth: cerita Dalam
Kain
commenced this week in Australia. The exhibition will visit five venues
in
Australia during 2005 - 2006 and is currently on display at the
Immigration
Museum, Melbourne, Australia from 11 April - 28 August and features
thirty-six
textiles from the Indonesian archipelago.
A bi-lingual catalogue accompanies the exhibition and is available for
purchase
from the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and the
Immigration
Museum.
