jeffrey_rap Lugarno PS Rap Point 2

Dear Jeffrey Rappers
Evatt Park is our favourite place to visit.  it is a huge park with four areas.
They are:
1.    The off street car park.
2.    The playing fields for football, cricket and baseball.
3.    The excellent play equipment with sand underneath
4.    The picnic area with tables and seats under shady gum trees.  There is                also a pond which is home to ducks, eels, fish and turtles.  The pond has a         wooden bridge and deck for people to observe nature without harming it.
Our school uses this park a lot.  We love it.  It is very close to the school so we are able to walk.  We walk on the inside of the footpath, always watching driveways for reversing cars.  We have one quiet, sideroad to cross.  We choose a safe place to cross where we can be seen. Our teacher makes sure we are l altogether, then we repeat stop! look! listen! think! to remind us to be responsible when we are crossing.  We wait for everyone at a safe spot on the other footpath.  Our teacher stays with us all the time.
At Christmas time we have a community Carols by Candlelight in this park.  This is great fun.

Dear Rappers
Here are our answers to the rap questions.  They took a lot of discussion!
We like to go to Evatt Park in Lugarno.  The park is close to our school.
Evatt park is a cool place to go because there are:
*    bushwalking tracks
*    a bridge
*    great climbing equipment
*    a pond
In the pond we have seen ducks, eels, little turtles, fish and tadpoles.
We usually walk to Evatt Park.
Our main safety message for our walks to Evatt Park is:
*    Always hold an adult's hand when you're walking on the footpath and when you      cross the road.
Come and visit Evatt Park.  We're sure you'll have fun!
Happy rapping

Hello Rappers
We are so lucky at Lugarno because we have a couple of beautiful parks and a wonderful walking track very close to our school.  Our favourite park is Evatt Park because it has a pond with ducks and eels and a mini pontoon so that you can walk out to observe.  It's a great park to have a picnic, play ball games, go on nature walks and ride our bikes.  Most of us usually walk or ride our bikes to this park so the safety rules to remember are......
*    Hold an adult's hand when crossing the road at the entrance to our park.
*    Always wear a helmet when riding a bike
*    Don't wander off in a park, play in a group.
We will be safe park visitors!

Dear Rappers
The local park nearest to our school is Evatt park, Lugarno.  It is a beautiful park set down amongst the bush near the Georges River.  It has lovely playing fields, fantastic play equipment and a beautiful dam with ducks swimming in it.
We can walk to Evatt Park from our school.  We only need to cross one sidestreet and the teachers always remind us to stop, look, listen, and think before we walk.  The teacher always stands on the road in case any cars come along after we have started to cross.
We love Evatt Park.  We even have our Spots Carnival there.  You might like to visit it one day.
