We had fun making up a television interview. Here it is:
Hello everyone, I'm Doctor Harry and on my show tonight, I have a very special guest. His name is Jeffrey from the famous story by Margaret Wild. I have some questions to ask Jeffrey.
- Jeffrey, What is your favourite place to go?
A. The dog park because other dogs go and they are my friends.
- Jeffrey, what food do you like? A. Fish and tinned dog food.
- . Do you like "MY Dog"? A. Yes
- How do you keep safe when walking with your humans to the park? A. My humans put a leash on me and we walk on the footpath.
- How do you keep safe at home? A. I stay inside sometimes and sometimes in the backyard with the gate shut.
- Who is your best dog friend? A. Genevieve, she's a golden retriever.
- What is your favourite game to play? A. Hide and seek. I play it with Genevieve and Gidget.
- What is your best toy? A. My rubber bone.
- What are some things you don't like? A. People teasing me-pulling my tail. Cats because they can scratch. I don't like table scraps. I don't like being left behind.
- Who is your favourite family member? A. Dad, because he bought me a doggie seat belt to keep me safe.
