Dear Rappers
It is really sad that this is the last week of our Jeffrey
book rap. It has been really great to hear from so many people from all over
NSW. Did any one print off the rap map and mark the different places on the
map? I did. We had schools from Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, Orange, Wollongong, Urana
(which is a 100 kms from Wagga Wagga ), Woolgoolga ( near Coffs Harbour ) and Goulburn.
If we tried to visit all of these places it would take a long time and we would
have to make sure that our seatbelts were on all of the time.
We’ve heard about great places like Balmoral Beach, Towradgi Park, Cook Park, and Evatt Park. I would
like to try and visit all of these places one day.
It was really sad when that nasty worm decided to get into everyone’s computer – I know that made it very hard for some schools to send their messages. If you get a chance you can try and catch up this week.
This week you are going to send messages about the road safety messages you have learnt by reading Jeffrey. Don’t forget to use the rap reflection sheet to help you with this activity.
I've been so thrilled to read your stories and interviews. You are all so clever and creative and I'm glad you enjoyed working with Jeffrey too.
Thanks goes to your teachers for helping you out, so give them a cheer !!!
Safe travelling to all you rappers. Let’s hope we hear from any of you that will be in Stage 1 again next year.
‘Bye for now
Matthew
