jeffrey05_rap Rap Point 3 - What a choice!

Hi rappers!

Once again K/1N did a fantastic  job with their response to last week’s task. What a clever idea to rhyme your answers!!

This week’s task (Rap Point 3) is great because there are 4 choices. You can choose the activity that your class would like to do.  You may even like to complete more than 1 of the options.

Please send the text version of your response in your email message to the rap, with the option chosen as the subject line as indicated below, eg. 3a Next part of story or 3c Interview.

Rap Point 3:

Now that Jeffrey is a passenger and is able to go in the car with the family there are some things he needs to know to be a safe passenger.

3a

Next part of the story

Construct the next part of the story and include how Kim and Ben help Jeffrey understand the things he needs to know so that he can be a safe passenger too.

OR

3b

New story

Construct a story of a fictitious family going, by car, to an interesting place to visit in your local area in their car. You could make up a fictional place and pet as well. Don’t forget to include the passenger safety rules and messages needed for the trip.

You may also like to include some illustrations (a message will be sent to the teacher rap about how to send illustrations).

OR

3c

Interview

Construct a television interview with Jeffrey.

Prepare some interview questions and answers that will help to create a character profile of his likes and dislikes, where he likes to go and how he keeps himself safe as a passenger. You may wish to include other road safety rules too.

Send your interview questions to the rap so others can enjoy your suggestions.

You may like to illustrate the interview and send this to the rap too. For example, you could develop a video presentation of a role play or a cartoon story with speech bubbles.

OR

3d

Song/Rap

Make up a song, rap or jingle of Jeffrey’s story, and/or other pets and their owners, about road safety, including things they need to know about being a safe passenger.

Please send your class’ response to the Jeffrey task to the usual email address:

jeffrey05_rap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au

I will look forward to hearing from you. I can’t wait to see which activity your class has decided to do!
