journeys06_rap Wyndham ESL reflection on the rap

Most people in our group including our teacher found the rap very useful as it was an opportunity to learn from others and to work through what we knew about journeys as individuals. Having to prepare answers for the rap meant that we were writing and editing more often. Preparing our group answer to rap point 1 and 3 where you need to write as a group taught us a lot about the writing process and that is really important for us ESL students.

Time management was a real problem because there was so much going on in the school that gave us less time in English so we spent most time on The Road not Taken and learned most about that text.
The best part of the rap was being able to read the ideas of students from Advanced and Standard classes.
We agree with Leeton High when they say more time was needed for some of the activities.

Mostly we want to thank those schools who were generous with their ideas and sharing them because when you are part of a small class it is so important to learn from others who have been learning English all their life.

We also want to wish everyone success in their journey towards the HSC and beyond.
