This is our response to Rap Point 1.
a)Imagination is individually seeing things in your mind that you want to
see. It has no limits.
b)Luke has a more imaginative and colourful attitude than his classmates and
teacher. His artwork is very creative with lots of colour. Luke sees the
world the way he sees his artwork. He expresses his feelings and his view of
the world through his art. Luke differs from hes classmates and teacher in
that they all seem to see the world the same way. They see it as dull,
boring and unimaginative. They act in a confined and have certain
boundaries. They can also see things as they are whereas Luke sees behind
things to how they could be. They see the world in dark, colourless ways.
Luke sees the world as being cheerful and his classmates and teacher see the
world as being miserable.
c)Mr Barraclough was confused and upset by Luke’s weird artwork. He acted
in a ferocious and disbelieving way. He yelled, ‘Why do you this boy?’.
He was frustrated by the wild and colourful abstract paintings. His
frustration caused him to scream ferociously, go ballistic and behave
crankily towards Luke. Mr Barraclough’s response made him seem scary and
ugly.
