lukes_way_of_looking_rap rap point 1

	Luke’s Way Of Looking

To answer Rap Point 1, 5D worked in pairs to brainstorm their responses to
each point. After that, each pair joined with another to share their
findings. The whole class then used their shared information to jointly
construct a class response. We hope you like our analysis-

1a) What is imagination?
5D Class definition of “imagination”: is different objects in your
mind forming images.

1b) How did Luke’s way of looking at the world differ from that of his
classmates and teacher?
Luke’s way of looking at the world seems upside down. He sees unusual
visions that are bright and colourful.
Luke sees everyday images in an exiting and creative way. Luke sees the
world as a fantasy adventure. In contrast, Luke’s classmates and teacher see
the world in exactly the same way as each other. They see dull, boring,
colourless and unoriginal images. They only see the world realistically,
they do not use their imagination. They are missing out on a wonderful
adventure.

1c)How did Mr. Baraclough initially react to Luke’s artwork?
Mr Baraclough initially reacted to Luke’s work by going off his brain. He
was shocked , annoyed, disgusted and furious with Luke. He behaved selfishly
“….he broke Luke’s paintbrushes” and “...he tore up the painting” .We know
that Mr Baraclough was unbelievably cross as Matt Ottley’s illustrations
make use of shadows to make Mr. Baraclough look fearsome!

Bye for now rappers!
