lukes_way_of_looking_rap Rap Point 3

7B from Hay War Memorial High School responding to Rap Point 3

a) FROM FEAR TO FREEDOM! At the beginning of the book Luke appeared to
be downcast, rejected, hurt and locked up emotionally. After Luke had been
to the museum, where he saw amazing pieces of art that he could relate to
because they were like his art, he felt more at home and at ease with his
inner self.

b) The other characters, Mr Baraclough and his classmates, turned from
being black and white images to colourful images. Mr Baraclough, on the last
page, looks more peaceful, welcoming, thoughtful and lost for words. His
shadow developed from being monster-like to angelic rather than furious and
angry.
