Dear Fellow Book Rappers,
We really enjoyed being part of this book rap, especially reading other
school's responses. By reading all the other responses, we went back and
looked at the book more closely, and discovered ideas we hadn't thought of.
>From Matt Ottley's illustrations we learned that you don't always need words
to express feelings.
We enjoyed the book itself, and due to the rap points we learned to focus on
how the illustrations related to the text.
We especially enjoyed asking Matt Ottley questions, and his prompt reply.
Thanks, Matt!
As a group, we learned to discuss and share ideas, and with the help of Miss
Swanson, put these ideas into rap responses.
Lastly, being part of the book rap was a great way to learn how to use the
internet, especially sending and receiving emails.

p.s. We were only able to complete the specified rap activities because of
time, or actually the lack of time. Specifically, we took part in this rap
during our lunchtimes, sharing this time with other activities such as
dancing, sport, tuckshop duty, etc. Such is life, right??
