Dear Rappers,
Welcome to the last week of the Luke’s way of looking book rap. As you
know we extended the rap by one week to give schools the opportunity to
complete the rap. This week is the Rap Wrap Up. Some schools may have
already done this last week.
The Rap Wrap Up allows students the opportunity to send their final
messages about the book rap. They may include thoughts on what they gained
from the rap, their thoughts and feelings about the book after participating
in the rap or maybe whether the rap met their expectations.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the rap and have been impressed by the quality
of the responses from students.
We would very much like to thank Matt Ottley and Nadia Wheatley for
participating in the rap and to the schools who sent questions to them.
Having both the author and the illustrator involved in the rap certainly
adds another dimension to the experience.
Thank you all for participating in this book rap. We hope you are able to
join in others further down the track.
