Hello everyone,
It was great to receive introductory messages from the
Sailor SIPPS at St Ives Park PS, the small gang from
Sutton Forest PS and the Zoom group from Five Dock
PS. We hope you all enjoy rapping with us and come to
discover why we are commemorating the bicentenary of
Matthew Flinders' circumnavigation of Terra Australis.
Welcome aboard!
Flinders' life was certainly different to ours in many
ways. You'll soon discover that he befriended a cat
named Trim, that he spent little of his married life
with his wife and that he was imprisoned on the island
of Mauritius for many years. But that is only a little
about him.......
So all those other rappers preparing to set off on our
Flinders adventure, send us in your introductions and
let us know about your school and about the explorers
that opened up your district. We're all waiting to
hear from you. Just a reminder to address your
