Dear Rappers,
We are a Year 5 and 6 class of 26 students at Stanmore Public School. Stanmore is in the inner city district of Sydney.
Special features of our school include:
* in our front playground there is a tree planted by Henry Parkes;
* we are right under the flight path for Sydney Airport so we have double glazing to soundproof us against aircraft noise;
* we have one of the BEST cricket teams around.
Lots of students in our class went to the Matthew Flinders exhibition last year when it was at the NSW State Library. They thought it was interesting.
We are very excited about doing the rap and can’t wait to start.
Our teachers are Ms Pollard and Ms French, who is one of the online co-ordinators so we are under a lot of pressure to perform!
