Hello everyone and rappers
We are attempting to make the Tom Thumb in the library! We have discovered
lots about MF and his travels. He must have been very lonely although we
have read that he was a very confident and arrogant character and probably
liked his own company.
We have drawn a picture of MF and we have put a time line next to him and
are collecting facts using stickets everwhere.
Here is a poem for you all:
Matthew Flinders brave and courageous
The sailor who sailed the seas
The words he spoke on one very day
Did not rise
Before two, or so it says
Being I think, weaker than before!
He lived his life of justice
Sailing the wide seas
The life of a seaman
Young and free
An Englishman who sailed the seas
