Hi rappers!
Welcome to the Mockingbird rap! My name is Mr Nethercote and I'll be
co-ordinating the rap with Mr Bowie. We're from Ambarvale High, situated in
Sydney's South West, not far from Airds High and Thomas Reddall, so a big
Hi! to you people. And it's great to see people from far flung corners of
the state here too - welcome to Sunraysia and Coomealla High!
I'm interested to know if any of you have been in a rap before. This is the
first one for our school, so it is all new and exciting!
As a small fish in the Big Pond we seemed to get lost, but we're with
hotmail now and that seems to be working!
Our class is 9E1and they've all read the book (ha! at least that's what they
tell me, and I always believe), and now are working on the rap point one.
I'm really interested in whether everyone feels Aticus is a hero not just in
the book but now. Do we still buy that 'father know best' image anymore. You
might like to think about what sort of father he is, and if he would qualify
today as a great dad or a bit removed. Looking forward to your responses as
we go through
