Hello to all other Rappers,
We are The Looney Toonies of Class 3M at Toongabbie West Public School. Our
school has about 210 students. Toongabbie is a suburb about 20kms west of
the main centre of Sydney City in New South Wales. We wear a uniform that
is green and white- our school colours. Our school mascot is Taz. There are
23 students in our class. We are working on our first Book Rap with our
Librarian, Mrs Pike and our class teacher, Mrs Morgan. We have Library
every Tuesday afternoon and we can borrow a variety of interesting books.
We have 3 House Teams at our school – Newcombe(blue), Fraser(red) &
Cuthbert(yellow). They are named after famous Australians – can you guess
who? The sports we play are tee-ball, newcombe, touch football, soccer and
netball.
Our school has a large grassed area playground. We are helping to improve
the garden areas. Everyone in our class potted a bottlebrush tree when we
went on our excursion to Cumberland State Forest. They are growing well.
We like learning French in our class.
We have enjoyed reading Mrs Millie’s Painting and we are looking forward to
e-mailing you about the Book Rap.
