Dear Mrs Millie,
We have been studying your wonderful book. Each time we read your
story we discover something new and exciting.
We are fascinated with your paintings. We have noticed that almost all
your paintings, except the picture of the waterfall, are of exotic
flowers. Do you enjoy painting any other things? Have you ever thought
of painting a portrait of your best friend Socrates, or of you with
him?
When you went exploring in the garden of flowers, we noticed that you
had your painting equipment and a picnic basket. However when you
returned home your arms were full of beautiful flowers and you had
your painting equipment, but where was the picnic basket? Did you
forget it, or did you intentionally leave it behind because you were
intending to return to the magical garden?
Your great friend Socrates sneezed as the mysterious perfume drifted
into the valley and filled the air. Is this perfume the same smell
that gave poor Socrates hay fever? We would love to chat more, but we
have to go to our school concert practice. Hope to talk again soon.
Yours in friendship,
2/3S.
