Dear fellow rappers,
We just adore Sox and we think he is a very good friend to Mrs Millie.
Here are some things Socrates did that made him such a good friend.
Socrates helped Mrs Millie in lots of ways. He helped her with
painting, going exploring and cutting down a big big leaf for their
boat. He also helped carry the load of beautiful flowers back from the
magical tree.
Socrates stood up tall near Mrs Millie when she was feeling blue and
hurt at the first flower show. This was very brave because Mrs
Compost’s dog was quite close by. Socrates also listened to Mrs
Millie’s stories and memories. (What a great friend.)
When they went exploring, Mrs Millie said “Stay close to me, dear”.
Socrates did that so his friend did not feel lonely or scared.
Socrates didn’t laugh at Mrs Millie, but they laughed together.
Socrates stood proudly beside his friend when she won the flower show.
We think he must have stayed up half the night to help Mrs Millie
arrange the flowers, even though he would have missed his nap.
We like them both, and we think we can all be good friends like
Socrates.
