noahandsaskia06_rap Introducing the rap coordinator

Dear Rappers

Welcome to the Noah & Saskia rap!

During the next few weeks you’re going to look at some great television, take part in interactive activities, and share your thoughts and ideas with other rappers in NSW. I hope you enjoy this e-experience, and I look forward to meeting you via email and sharing your discoveries and responses to the rap points.

This week we’re introducing ourselves.

I am an English teacher and I currently work in an office, the School Libraries Unit in Ryde, Sydney. I’m the rap’s co-ordinator, which means I’ll be sending you the rap points and responding to your observations.

Your first task is to construct a group introduction and send it to the rap.

Send this message, and all your other messages to:

noahandsaskia06_rap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au

It helps if the subject line is obvious, so for your introductory message, please type:

Introducing [your school name]    e. g.    Introducing Bromwell High

With all your messages, please be specific in the subject line and type the rap point you’re responding to. Check your emails every day if you can.

In your introduction please include:

  • the name of your school and a little about it – population, age, etc.
  • your location (tell us about your town/ city/ area. Where are you in the state? What is it like living there?)
  • a few lines about your group – personalities, interests, etc.
  • your first reactions to Noah & Saskia – have you watched the first four episodes? Do you like the series?

I look forward to hearing from you and discussing the clever and witty TV show, Noah & Saskia.

On with the rap!

Carol Thomas

Rap co-ordinator
