We have looked at soundtrack-music and softfocus as the filmic elements.
1. We agee to the point that yr8e1 made about the use of soft focus when Saskia was introducing Renee in episode 1. We have also chosen a scene from episode 3 where Saskia took us back to her childhood when she and Renee talked about boys on their way to school. She talked about a boy who she had romantic thoughts of, who lived in that street and who actually was romantic with Renee. The shot was really blurry on the edges. It gave us a romantic, dreamy feeling.
2. The theme music at the beginning of each episode is quite loud and rythemic. It demands attention from the audience and made us want to look at the screen. At the beginning of episode 2, Indy (Saskia) admits that she wrote the song. We really like it.
