To add to Carol’s comments about characters… an interesting
element of the filming of Noah & Saskia
was that the actors, Hannah Greenwood and Jack Blumenau never met or saw each
other until the series was completed. Hannah as Saskia acted all of her scenes
with Max Hammer (as she imagined him) and Noah ditto with Indie.
I was at the cast screening of the first few episodes of the series and
Hannah was excited to at last see who Noah was. There were a lot of girls and
boys who wrote fan letters to our actors and went online to chat about them on the
ABC Noah & Saskia website.
The other interesting thing about the series and the writers tried to capture
it in the novel is that while there are 6 characters there are also 4 narrative
threads or story lines.
I have a challenge: the first Rappers to correctly identify what those
4 parallel story lines are will receive gifts from the ACTF.
