Better late than never, and your response was worth waiting for. You were
very thorough in your analysis of the different styles exhibited in the
passages.
It might help in preparing later answers to questions on the text, to use
the insight you have shown to help you 'get inside the characters', so that
you can answer questions with a personal response, based on your
understanding. A novel speaks better to the reader who empathises, and
examiners appreciate such insight.
