othello_rap Introducing the Blokes and Sheilas

Hey!

We are year 11 students at Gosford Selective High school involved in a
sociological experiment where the top two classes have been split
into an all boys' and all girls' class. (Blokes and Sheilas) Both
classes will be contributing as two separate classes in future.

We're looking forward to participating in our first book rap. We've
just finished studying Shakespeare's tragedy Othello and wish to share
our opinions and insights into the play with other schools. And in
turn learn a thing or two from them. Hopefully the book rap will give
us the opportunity to explore other English areas like integrating
telecommunications in the classroom.

Our basic ideas on the play can be summed up in the following short
"rap"

Iago is cool
Desdemona's a fool
Roderigo's a tool
and Othello has a tendency to drool
