othello_rap Rap point 3

Dear Othello Rappers
I hope you are all enjoying the Rap so far. There have been some impressive
responses to the first Rap point. Students from Gilgandra High, Gosford
High, Plumpton High, and Erskine Park High have certainly got the gist of
these activities.
I hope it is promoting interesting discussion with your colleagues and
making your study of Othello more meaningful. Will Shakespeare could never
imagine that students of the future would be discussing his plays across NSW
on the internet. You are certainly trailblazers into cyberspace!
Great work! Perhaps you would like to consider Rap point 3. Well here goes.

Rap point 3
Term 3, Week 5: week beginning 20th August 2001
How does Shakespeare position the audience at the end of the play? Do you
see Othello as a warrior or as a tragic hero?
Please remember to send your insights to
othello_teachrap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au
Have fun
Cathy Sly – Othello Rap Coordinator
