We are the students and teachers of 6T at Artarmon Public School. Our school is a largek-6 school with 629 students. We are on a split site with K-2 around the corner. About half of our students come from other countries or speak other languages. Our school was built in 1910 and it is still in great condition. We are located in the suburb of Artarmon about 12 km north of the centre of Sydney and close to Sydney Harbour. We have a school meeting room in our library called the Kameraigal Room. It is named after the Aboriginal people who once lived in this area. There are middens and rock carvings in the Ku Ring Gai National Park, quite close to our school. We are looking forward to finding out about your schools and rapping with you.
