papunya04_rap Papunya Bookrap Introduction and Rap Point 1

Our apologies for all the lateness.

We are class 8.1I at Fairfield High School, situated in Western Sydney. We
are the largest school, in area in NSW over 40 hectacres of land and we are
on the edge of the shopping centre at Fairfield. Once we were two schools,
a boys school and a girls school but both schools were combined in the
mid-80s. Our school is 50 years old this year and will have a big
celebration in August.

There are around 1300 students. 1,000 in the school and 300 in the IEC,
which is also a part of our school.

We will have 6 small groups from our class contributing to the Bookrap. Rap
point 1 will come in later today and Rap point 2 may also come in today or
on Monday.

This is the first time our class has participated in a Bookrap and we have
been waiting for our own English Computer Room to be completed, but that has
not happened as planned so we have had to wait. We are going to be working
through our Library computers instead so we can catch up.
