The Aboriginals usually only learned in one way until the arrival of white people. The white people showed them a different way to learn aboout their history and the Aboriginals history. They have been using both ways of teaching for a long time learning from both the Aboriginal Elders and the white teachers.
The Tjulkura (which are the white people) came with their own beliefs and changed the Aboriginals beliefs when they came. Conflict errupted, Aboriginals wanted to learn their own way, and not by these new mysterious people. The white people forced and made the Aboriginals forget their ways. The whites gave them an outlook on life and a better view on the ouside world.
The Anangu (which are the aboriginal people) where the first people to live in Australia. They are unique people who have their own outlook on life. They have their own history on what they believed happened and how they believe The Earth was formed.
They made their own way of life for no one was around but them. They had thier own life until the white people (Tjulkura) took control of their lives, and made Australia theirs.
Therefore the composers chose to tell their stories in two ways, the Anangu way and Tjulkura way so people can understand their point of view from both sides. They can see the difference between both cultures and thier way of life.
