The Papunya School Book of country and history represents the cultural experiences of the Anangu by the pictures, drawings, paintings, stories, symbols and the use of earthly colours.
The personal experiences of the Anangu is represented by the way they tell their past as stories with how they think and feel about the Tjulkura people. The stories of some of their lives were put together in this book. This is considered to be their personal experiences.
In our response discussion, we think that the composers oral elements achieved ther purpose by telling the stories from two point of views both the Anangu and Tjulkura ways in the past, by using timelines and story forms.
The Composers used good visual elements by comparing photographs and paintings, they express aboriginal symbols and colours which are earthly colours. They use Aboriginal styles which are cultural and traditional to the Anangu. They also make the Tjulkura drawings, paintings as it is.
