Welcome to the Possum Magic Book Rap! My name is Mrs Scheffers and I am the Teacher Librarian at Marayong Public School, in western Sydney. I 'll be co-ordinating this book rap with with Mrs Kirk (the Teacher Librarian at Thomas Acres Public School). I'm sure we're all going to have such a fun time, sharing our ideas and feelings about this award winning book! I'm already feeling very excited and I can't wait to get started!
This week, your rap task is to send an introductory class message, which describes your class / group and your school. You may wish to tell us about the location, size and any special features of your school.
In the subject box, please write Introducing then the name of your class / group and school.
(eg. Introducing Class 1J from Marayong PS).
After you have read other schools' introductions, you may wish to plot them on a class wall map.
Thank you to those schools that have already posted their introductions - you've done a wonderful job! It's great to have the South Stars from Blacktown South, class 1D from Wollondilly PS and class 1/2W from Ingleburn PS rapping with us. These three schools are all so diffeernt in their sizes and locations. This certainly makes our book rap more interesting! I'm so pleased to read that you all enjoyed Possum Magic - we're off to a fabulous start already!
