Thread-Topic: Introducing Year 1 from Annandale North P.S.
Hi Everyone
We are a Year 1 reading group at Annandale North P.S. There are 21 of us in this group and we come from three different Year 1 classes at our school to do reading activities for a short time each day.
Our school is on Johnston St in Annandale. This is in the inner west of Sydney. There are 340 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 at our school and there are both boys and girls here. Our school is celebrating its 100th birthday this year.
We don't have much playground space at our school but there is a park across the road. We are having a frog pond put in to one area of our playground right now. We also have a gymnastics programme at our school that we really enjoy. After school we like to play soccer and cricket. Some of us like to go to swimming lessons and dance class. We all really like to read, especially chapter books and maze books.
This is the first time any of us has done a book rap and we are really looking forward to hearing from schools from different places.
