Thread-Topic: introducing class 2C from Manly Village Public school
Hello we are the 'Magic Aussie Possums' from Manly Village Public School in Manly, Sydney. We are a year 2 class and we are taking part in our very first Book Rap with our Teacher Librarian, Mrs Neill. We love reading and we are very excited to be able to rap with students from all around Australia. We have a map in the Library and we are locating all the schools as we read the emails.
We have a Computer Lab at our school so we will all be able to check our own emails. We also have a Smart Board in the Library which is lots of fun. Our teacher Mrs Smith is teaching us recorder.
Lots of famous people have attended our school. Our Library and Technology Room is named after Sir Roden Cutler, a former Governor General of our state NSW and winner of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for bravery.
One of our parents, Belinda Murrell is a children's author. She has written the Sun Sword Trilogy. You may have her books in your school library.
We are looking forward to our first activity next week
