Subject: Introducing Year 1/2 from Ashford Central School

Hello Rappers,

We are class1/2, from Ashford Central School which is located in north-western NSW, close to the QLD border. Our town has a population of 500.

We are a central school with classes from kindergarten to Year 12. The primary kids are called “yellow shirts” and the secondary kids are called “white shirts”. Maybe you can guess why!!!! We have 170 students at our school, and 22 are in our class. Our school moto is “Play the Game”.

As a whole we really enjoy art, maths games and going to the computer lab.

On weekends we do an assortment of activities which include, motorbike riding, playing cricket, fishing, horse riding, helping mum and dad round up sheep and catching up with friends.

We are looking forward to participating in this rap and meeting everybody from different schools.

We already enjoyed listening to Miss Kent read Possum Magic.
